Digital Radiography (DR/2D)

Digital Radiography (DR), is a 2D x-ray inspection method that uses a digital x-ray system to capture static 2D images, allowing you to see the internal features of the component you are inspecting. Our certified personnel are able to develop techniques that allow for flaw detection, assembly verification, and many more types of analysis.

Computed Tomography (CT/3D)

Computed Tomography (CT) is an inspection method the requires your component be fixed to a rotate stage. That stage captures thousands of images while your part rotates 360 degrees (typically). Once the images are captured, the software uses an algorithm to reconstruct the data into a 3D volumetric set. With this data set, you can visually slice through the part allowing you to nondestructively analyze the internal makings of your part.

High Energy 2D/3D Services

Given the limitations that are presented with both DR and CT, PiXL has partnered with various companies to offer our customers a method that overcomes these obstacles. We are able to perform up to 500kV in-house, while our strategic partners can inspect items what require up to 9MeV.
